A year and a half has passed with the corona virus and it continues to wreak havoc all over the world. While the delta variant remains a cause of concern globally, new variants of COVID-19 keep coming out from time to time. Now researchers have detected another new strain of corona, the R.1 variant, which has led to a small number of COVID cases in the US and other countries as well. Although it has not become a cause for concern yet, experts have urged people to be cautious, as it can be very contagious.
