Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal during the press conference on October 02 in Dubai said that India-UAE is not in competition and the countries share complementarities.

“India-UAE shares lot of complementarities. We're not in competition with each other. We can collaborate to serve the world. There're many areas of businesses like textiles, leather, healthcare, etc. where there's potential,” said Goyal.

“UAE has good potential offerings for India. Investment is one big area on which we can expect to work together. I've the high-level task force meeting on investments today,” he added.
