New coronavirus cases are again above two-thousand in Victoria. The state recorded 2,179 infections and six deaths. Restrictions will ease when the first major vaccine target of 70 per cent is reached. Currently, almost 63 per cent of people aged 16 and over are fully vaccinated. Meanwhile, 87 per cent have received their first dose.
