Milad Un Nabi is one such festival which is very important for the believer of Islam. Rabi al-awwal, the third month of the Islamic calendar, has begun. On the 12th of this month, the last prophet Hazrat Muhammad was born. Obviously, Prophet Hazrat Mohammad is the center of reverence for Muslims settled all over the world, so the day of his birth, Milad, is also very special for those who believe in Islam. This day is celebrated with great pomp around the world, especially in the Indian subcontinent. This day itself is called Eid Milad Un Nabi or Barawafat. According to the English calendar, this year i.e. 2021, the birthday of Prophet Hazrat will fall on October 19. The full name of Prophet Muhammad, who was born in Mecca, was Prophet Hazrat Muhammad sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam. His mother's name was Amina Bibi and father's name was Abdullah. It was Prophet Hazrat Mohammad to whom Allah first gave the Holy Quran. It was only after this that the Prophet took the message of the Holy Quran to the people. Hazrat Muhammad preached that only one who believes in humanity is great.

मिलाद उन नबी एक ऐसा त्योहार है जो इस्लाम को मानने वाले के लिए बेहद महत्वपूर्ण है. इस्लामिक कैलेंडर के तीसरे महीने रबी अल अव्वल की शुरुआत हो चुकी है. इस माह की 12 तारीख को अंतिम पैगंबर हजरत मोहम्मद का जन्म हुआ था. जाहिर है कि पैगम्बर हजरत मोहम्मद पूरी दुनिया में बसे मुसलमानों के लिए श्रद्धा का केन्द्र हैं, लिहाजा उनके जन्म का दिन मिलाद उन नबी भी इस्लाम को मानने वालों के लिए बेहद खास है. दुनियाभर, खासकर भारतीय उपमहाद्वीप में यह दिन बड़े ही धूमधाम के साथ मनाया जाता है. इस दिन को ही ईद मिलाद उन नबी या फिर बारावफात कहा जाता है. अंग्रेजी कैलेंडर के मुताबिक इस साल यानि 2021 को ये पैगंबर हजरत का जन्मदिन 19 अक्टूबर को पड़ेगा. मक्का में जन्म लेने वाले पैगंबर मोहम्मद साहब का पूरा नाम पैगंबर हज़रत मोहम्मद सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि वसल्लम था. उनकी माताजी का नाम अमीना बीबी और पिताजी का नाम अब्दुल्लाह था. वे पैगंबर हजरत मोहम्मद ही थे जिन्हें अल्लाह ने सबसे पहले पवित्र कुरान अता की थी. इसके बाद ही पैगंबर साहब ने पवित्र कुरान का संदेश जन-जन तक पहुंचाया. हजरत मोहम्मद का उपदेश था कि मानवता को मानने वाला ही महान होता है.
