A TATTOO artist in Germany has spent $80,000 covering herself in superhero tattoos to transform herself into a walking comic book. Juliane Forster, 33, from Oberndorf, Germany, has developed an army of devoted fans on Instagram thanks to her incredible tatts of Marvel and DC characters including Joker, Bane, Batman, Thor, Spider-Man, Captain America and Deadpool, which she got after bonding with her oldest son over their shared love of superhero movies. Juliane said: “My son inspired me to get superhero tattoos and I dedicated my skin to him. I am a colourful comic book.” Juliane got her first tattoo - an image of Spider-Man on her leg - aged 18 and now estimates that as much as 85% of her body is covered. Living in a rural, conservative village with her husband and two sons, Julianne initially got a frosty reception due to her body art - but locals have warmed to her look, and now even come to her to get their own tattoos. With over 300k followers on Instagram, Juliane now says she can’t imagine life without her tattoos. She said: “My tattoos mean everything to me. I’m constantly surrounded by them, this is my life so everything is built around them.”
