The Indian Army has given permanent commission to 39 women officers. After winning the legal battle in the Supreme Court, 39 women officers of the army got permanent commission on 22 October this month. The Supreme Court had asked the Army to grant him permanent commission by November 1. The Supreme Court has ordered the government to ensure that these women officers are given new service status within seven working days.

Supreme Court ने सेना से उन्हें 1 नवंबर तक स्थायी कमीशन देने को कहा था. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने सरकार को ये सुनिश्चित करने का आदेश दिया है कि सात कार्य दिवसों के भीतर इन महिला अफसरों को नई सेवा का दर्जा दिया जाए.
