The 26th Conference of Parties (COP26) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) kicked off on Sunday in Scotland's Glasgow and will conclude on November 12. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is among the world leaders, addressed the World Leaders' Summit of COP26, arrived in Glasgow in the UK after his three-day visit to Rome on the sidelines of the G20 Summit. PM Modi stated Just like in India, climate change is a big challenge for the agriculture sector in most developing countries. PM Modi shared that India has around 17 percent of the world’s population but is responsible for only about 5 percent of the total emissions. In his speech, PM Modi gave a new mantra for sustainable development. He said 'LIFE', that is, Lifestyle for Environment can be the foundation for the same. Watch this video.
