#AmodKKanth is a retired IPS officer who served as the Director General of Police (DGP) in Arunachal Pradesh and Goa, and later went on to become the Chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights. Known for his work in the social sector, specifically in the field of juvenile justice, Kanth is best known as the founder of Prayas JAC (Juvenile Aid Centre) Society. In this interview with Newslaundry’s Abhinandan Sekhri, he talks about his new book published by Bloomsbury, #KhakiinDustStorm: Communal Colours and Political Assassinations (1980–1991) Police Diaries.
