Govardhan Puja 2021: The festival of Govardhan Puja and Annakut is celebrated on the Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month, the day after Diwali. Cows, bulls, calves and domestic animals are worshiped on the day of Govardhan. Animal wealth is worshiped on this day. According to the legend, on this day Shri Krishna protected the people of Mathura. Shri Krishna saved all the Gokul residents from the wrath of Indra by lifting the Govardhan mountain (Govardhan Parvat 2021) on his finger. There is a tradition of circumambulating the Govardhan mountain in Mathura on this day. This time Govardhan Puja will be done on 5th November, Friday.

Govardhan Puja 2021: दिवाली के अगले दिन कार्तिक मास की शुक्ल पक्ष की प्रतिपदा तिथि के दिन गोवर्धन (Govardhan Puja) और अन्नकूट (Annakut) का त्योहार मनाया जाता है. गोवर्धन के दिन गाय, बैल, बछड़े और घर के पालतू पशुओं की पूजा की जाती है. इस दिन पशु धन की पूजा की जाती है. पौराणिक कथा के अनुसार इस दिन श्री कृष्ण ने मथुरावासियों की रक्षा की थी. श्री कृष्ण ने उंगली पर गोवर्धन पर्वत (Govardhan Parvat 2021) उठा कर सभी गोकुलवासियों को इंद्र के प्रकोप से बचाया था. इस दिन मथुरा में गोवर्धन पर्वत की परिक्रमा करने की परंपरा है. इस बार 5 नवंबर, शुक्रवार के दिन गोवर्धन पूजा की जाएगी. वीडियो में गोवर्धन पूजा महत्व और गोवर्धन पूजा से क्या लाभ मिलता है
