Heavy rain led to flooding in several areas of Chennai on November 9. Normal life was also affected after the city recorded heavy rainfall. As per India Meteorological Department (IMD), heavy rainfall is expected in coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu from November 9-11 due to the northeast monsoon.
