Horses riding the sun god are worshiped near the Mansarovar pond in Deendayalnagar of Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh. These horses travel throughout the city and go to the homes of the women of Chhath fasting. Where fasting women perform the aarti of these horses and at the same time seek blessings by feeding gram and jaggery.

उत्तर प्रदेश के चंदौली जिले के दीनदयालनगर में मानसरोवर तालाब के पास सूर्य देव की सवारी घोड़ों की पूजा की जाती है. ये घोड़े पूरे नगर में भ्रमण करते हैं और छठ व्रती महिलाओं के घरों तक जाते हैं. जहां व्रती महिलाएं इन घोड़ों की आरती उतारती हैं और साथ ही साथ चना और गुड़ खिलाकर आशीर्वाद मांगती हैं.
