TMC minister Bratya Basu claims ‘Dictionary’ dropped from IFFI screening due to ‘political’ reasons

West Bengal Education Minister and filmmaker Bratya Basu has alleged that his movie ‘Dictionary’, which was initially selected for screening at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2021, was dropped because of “political” reasons. Basu stated that he was notified through emails from IFFI officials that his film was selected for screening. However, he was later told that his film would not be screened.
