BN’s Sulaiman Md Ali has rejected a proposal by Pakatan Harapan chairperson Anwar Ibrahim for a debate between the chief ministerial candidates of the three major coalitions contesting in the Malacca polls.

Sulaiman, who is the caretaker chief minister and has been endorsed by BN to remain in the top job if the coalition wins, told Malaysiakini that he prefers to focus on campaigning, which only has seven days left.
