This was Rohit Sharma's first match as captain since becoming the captain of the T20 format permanently, in which he scored a brilliant 48 runs but missed out on scoring a half-century in his first match by just 2 runs. In this match, his wicket was taken out by his IPL teammate bowler Trent Boult, on which Rohit Sharma said that what he taught to Bolt, he used it against Rohit.
