Firefighters have dealt with more than 500 accidental grass fires that wreaked havoc across the county.

Kent Fire and Rescue were called to an average of three preventable fires caused by out of control barbecues and bonfires every single day last summer.

Now they've launched a new campaign in the hope of educating residents before they happen.
