A court has heard how Conservative party chiefs were determined to disrupt Nigel Farage's Presidential campaign to become MP for Thanet South.

Thanet MP Craig MacKinlay is accused of breaking spending rules during the 2015 General Election.

Mr Mackinlay and his two assistants are said to have spent more than double the legal limit to see off former Ukip leader bid to win the Kent seat.
