Learner drivers to be allowed on motorways

Provisional motorists will be able to have lessons on the carriageways starting from the fourth of June, when supervised by a qualified driving instructor in a dual-controlled car. Highways England believes it will reduce the risk of collisions and create a smarter generation of drivers.
