Malaysiakini is calling the Malacca state election for BN, which appears to be on track to form the next government with a convincing majority in the legislative assembly.

Based on the unofficial count, Harapan is likely to retain only half of the 15 seats it won during the 2018 general election.

As for PN, which comprises Bersatu, PAS and Gerakan, the coalition is poised to win a single seat from the 28 it contested.
