Ahead of the Winter Session of Parliament, an all-party meeting was called by the government on Sunday.
Thirty-one political parties attended the meeting and 42 leaders from different parties participated in the discussion.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was expected to be there, did not attend the meeting.
Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh walked out of the meeting. He said he was raising the farmers’ issue of bringing in a bill on minimum support price but was not allowed to speak.
"The government does not allow anyone to speak. What is the point of such a meeting then?" he said.
