The new variant 'Omicron' of Corona that has surfaced in South Africa has raised the concern of scientists and health organizations around the world. Cases of this deadly variant of corona have been reported in about eight countries including Australia, Belgium, Israel. As a precaution, many countries have started restricting travel to African countries. So far, the highest number of 32 mutations have been detected in the Omicron variant of the corona, which makes it highly contagious and lethal. Studies have found that this variant of the corona can easily be successful in dodging the immune system created by the vaccine in the body.
