Chhattisgarh has brought laurels to the state in the matter of collection of minor forest produce. Chhattisgarh has become the top state in the country among minor forest produce collectors. Recently, on behalf of Tribal Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Maryadit, Government of India, New Delhi, awards were announced on the basis of performance of various states. The name of Chhattisgarh was in the top in the list of this awards.

Minor forest produce के संग्रहण के मामले में Chhattisgarh ने राज्य का नाम रौशन किया है. छत्तीसगढ़ लघु वनोपज संग्राहकों में देश का शीर्ष राज्य बन गया है. हाल ही में भारतीय जनजातीय सहकारी विपणन संघ मर्यादित, भारत सरकार नई दिल्ली की ओर से विभिन्न राज्यों के प्रदर्शन के आधार पर पुरस्कारों की घोषणा की गई थी. इस पुरस्कारों की लिस्ट में टॉप में Chhattisgarh का नाम था.
