Indigenous health leaders in Queensland are calling on the Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk not to open to COVID states until the first nations vaccination rate improves. Communities such as Yarrabah and Cherbourg are yet to fully immunise fifty percent of their population aged fifteen and over, although their vaccination rates are beginning to accelerate.
