On December 9, farmers of India decided to end their over one-year long protest. This comes as the Modi led central government accepted their remaining demands. The Centre has accepted their demands which included a legal guarantee on Minimum Support Price (MSP). The protesting farmers will return to their homes on Saturday, December 11. Samyukta Kisan Morcha, an umbrella body of farmer unions, will hold a review meeting in Delhi on December 15.
