Shop rental prices explode in Tasmanian tourism hub

As Tasmania's isolated west coast hub of Queenstown transition to a tourism economy, some formerly abandoned shopfronts are getting a new lease on life while other properties aren't getting leased at all. A single group of developers has purchased a number of buildings on the main street and hiked up the rent, which locals say is preventing new businesses from setting up shop.
