Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz has issued a friendly reminder to the public to reject any unsolicited advances from an individual claiming to hold his position.

Zafrul said he was shocked to read recent news reports of a 59-year-old kindergarten teacher who lost RM4,200 to false promises by an individual claiming to be the finance minister.

Responding to the reports, Zafrul said if after this there is anyone else who pretended to be the finance minister promising love, please reject them outright.
