The boss of retail chain Mydin today said he will turn a blind eye to flood victims who looted one of his stores.

Mydin Mohamed Holdings Bhd managing director Ameer Ali Mydin said a Mydin Mart branch in Taman Sri Muda was looted.

"I do not support the act of stealing. However, in times of emergency, perhaps they had no other choice and were forced to do so to survive."
