The Subject Expert Committee (SEC) on Covid-19 of the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) has recommended granting emergency use authorisation to the Serum Institute of India's Covid-19 vaccine Covovax and Biological E's vaccine Corbevax with certain conditions. The panel also recommended granting permission to manufacture and market anti-Covid pill Molnupiravir for restricted emergency use for treatment of adult patients.
