In the ongoing protets by doctors against the delay in NEET Postgraduate seats counselling, residnt doctors of AIIMS New Delhi called off their strike today after a meeting with Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya wherein the minister acknolwedged their grievances, particularly regarding the march on Supreme Court that they had held on Monday which had faced an alleged police crackdown in which officers misbehaved with and manhandled the doctors, including women. However, they have reiterated their suppor for doctors protesting in other hospitals like Safdarjung.

Advocate Vineet Jindal has also written to the Supreme Court asking it to take suomoto cgnizance of the doctor's protest.
