All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi on December 29 took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over perfume trader Peeyush Jain's arrest in Kanpur and said that the Prime Minister should accept that his brainchild demonetisation has totally failed and destroyed small-scale industries.

“Prime Minister should tell how cash worth Rs 180 crores can be found at the residence of a businessman in Uttar Pradesh, despite demonetisation? Prime Minister should accept that his brainchild demonetisation has totally failed and that it has destroyed small-scale industries and jobs,” he added.
