The winter surge of coronavirus pandemic has led to 90,000 fresh cases in the past 24 hours in India. This is a massive jump from the 58,097 cases logged a day before. The country also saw the first death due to the Omicron variant. The deceased is a 73-year-Old man from Rajasthan who reportedly had co-morbidities.
