PKR Youth vice-chief Thiban Subramaniam has claimed that former prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin is trying to distance himself from MACC chief Azam Baki's case.

He said Muhyiddin could have asked for a different candidate if he had disagreed with Government Chief Secretary Mohd Zuki Ali's reccomendation for the position.

This came after after Muhyiddin denied appointing Azam Baki as MACC chief commissioner.
