In yet another setback for the BJP, Dara Singh Chauhan quit the party before Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls 2022. On January 12, Dara Singh Chauhan, OBC leader, resigned from the Yogi Adityanath cabinet. He is the second OBC leader to leave team Yogi just before the polls. He is the sixth leader to quit the party. Swami Prasad Maurya also resigned from the party.
