The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) issued six significant warnings of continuous rain which were ignored by "certain parties" involved directly in the disaster management, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The Prime Minister said that in his address in Parliament on Thursday (Jan 20), adding that following the extraordinary and unexpected floods, the frantic situation on the first day of flood management in Selangor had caused rescue teams to struggle in conducting operations due to the complexity of urban flooding.
