India registered 2,35,532 fresh Covid cases in the last 24 hours, which is 6.2 per cent lower than yesterday. The country also reported 871 daily deaths, bringing the total reported death count to 4,93,198.

India's total caseload now stands at 4,08,58,241, while the active caseload is at 20,04,333. In the last 24 hours, active cases declined by 1,01,278.
