Pegasus Spyware Deal: The New York Times report that the Modi government bought the Israeli spyware Pegasus in 2017 as a part of a USD 2 billion package for weapons, including a missile system.
The NYT report also referred to PM Modi's visit to Israel in July 2017 to become the first Indian prime minister to visit the country.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah holds door-to-door campaigning in Muzaffarnagar and Saharanpur ahead of UP Assembly election. On the other hand Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav and Jayant Chaudhary addressed a joint press conference in Ghaziabad.

Pegasus Sypware सॉफ्टवेयर विवाद एक बार फिर सुर्खियों में गया है। दरअसल Pegasus Deal पर New York Times की एक नई रिपोर्ट ने चौंकाने वाला खुलासा किया है। न्यूयॉर्क टाइम्स ने अपनी रिपोर्ट में खुलासा किया है कि भारत ने एक रक्षा सौदे में इजरायल से जासूसी में उपयोग किया जाने वाला विवादित पेगासस सॉफ्टवेयर खरीदा था। बात पांच राज्यों में हो रहे विधानसभा चुनावों की करें तो इसको लेकर चुनावी घमासान अपने चरम पर है। उत्तर प्रदेश (UP Assembly elections 2022) में तो BJP के तरफ से अमित शाह (Amit Shah), जेपी नड्डा (JP Nadda ने मोर्चा संभाल है वहीं समाजवादी पार्टी की तरफ से अखिलेश यादव (Akhilesh Yadav) और RLD के जयंत चौधरी (Jayant Chaudhary) लगातार योगी सरकार और बीजेपी पर हमलावर नजर आ रहे हैं।
