अपनी दीदी की ज़िंदगी के इस सतत संघर्ष और योगदान को याद करने के लिए उनकी छोटी बहन, मीना मंगेशकर खाडीकर ने दो बरस पहले यानी लता जी के 90वें जन्मदिन पर पर उनकी स्मृतियों को एक किताब की शक्ल में लता जी को समर्पित किया था. मीना मंगेशकर खाडीकर ने उनके लिए किताब 'दीदी और मैं' लिखी थी.
