February is Safely Surrendered Baby Awareness Month. Tuesday morning the Board of Supervisors made the official declaration. During the presentation, officials announced that another baby had been surrendered Tuesday bringing the total number of infants that have been safely surrendered since 2006 in Kern County to 91.
