Union Minister for Minority Affairs, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on February 12 said that whole hijabi riot is an attempt to lock the education and progress of Muslim girls under Taliban locks. He also added that the country is run by the Constitution and not Sharia. While speaking to ANI, Naqvi said, “This hijabi riot and Taliban hysteria is an attempt to lock the education and progress of Muslim girls under Taliban locks. Today the country is run by the Constitution, it will not run by Sharia.”
