The hijab controversy that started from Karnataka has now reached Aligarh. In Aligarh Dharma Samaj Degree College, the students protested against the hijab in the campus by wearing saffron cloaks and after that gave a memorandum demanding ban on the burqa in the college. In a hurry, the college administration has pasted the notice to implement the dress code while banning the burqa, gamchha in the college campus.

कर्नाटक से शुरू हुआ हिजाब विवाद अब अलीगढ़ तक पहुंच गया है. अलीगढ़ धर्म समाज डिग्री कॉलेज में छात्रों ने हिजाब के विरोध में भगवा चोला ओढ़ कर कैंपस में विरोध जताया था और उसके बाद ज्ञापन देकर कॉलेज में बुर्का बैन करने की मांग की थी. आनन-फानन में कॉलेज प्रशासन ने कॉलेज कैंपस में बुर्का, गमछा बैन करते हुए ड्रेस कोड लागू करने के नोटिस को चस्पा कर दिया है.
