Student protests continue at several places in Karnataka over the hijab issue. Students wearing hijab were refused entry at colleges across Karnataka. On February 17, the Karnataka High Court adjourned the hearing for the next day. In Hassan district, protesting students got into an altercation with the police officials. In Tumakuru, students were denied entry as they were wearing the hijab. Protests were also witnessed outside Saraladevi College in Ballari. In Yadgir too, girls wearing hijab were seen protesting.
