In the case of Delhi riots, the Delhi High Court has sent notices to several political figures and asked them to respond. It has been asked that why should not he be prosecuted as a party in this case. The leaders to whom the High Court has sent this notice include Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. On the basis of a separate petition, the Delhi High Court has sought registration of an FIR against all of them, alleging that they made inflammatory speeches before the North-East Delhi riots. A notice has also been issued against Verma, Abhay Verma and Kapil Mishra, asking them to file their reply.

Delhi riots, के मामले में Delhi High Court ने कई राजनीतिक हस्तियों को नोटिस भेजकर जवाब देने को कहा है। इसमें पूछा गया है कि क्यों न इस मामले में पक्षकार के रूप में उनपर मुकदमा चलाया जाए. हाई कोर्ट ने जिन नेताओं को यह नोटिस भेजा है, उसमें कांग्रेस की अंतरिम अध्यक्ष Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. शामिल हैं। इन सबके खिलाफ उत्तर-पूर्वी दिल्ली दंगे से पहले कथित तौर पर भड़काऊ भाषण देने का आरोप लगाते हुए इनपर FIR दर्ज करने की मांग की गई है।दिल्ली उच्च न्यायलय ने एक अलग याचिका के आधार पर बीजेपी नेताओं, केंद्रीय मंत्री अनुराग ठाकुर, सांसद परवेश वर्मा, अभय वर्मा और कपिल मिश्रा के खिलाफ भी नोटिस जारी कर उनसे जवाब दाखिल करने को कहा है।
