West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee addressed a public rally in Varanasi on March 3 in support of Samajwadi Party, amid Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections. While addressing the rally, she said, “Yesterday when I was going to Ghat from the airport, I saw some BJP workers- who have nothing else except hooliganism in their brains- stopping my vehicle. They hit my car with sticks and told me to go back. Then I realised that they were gone. Their (BJP) loss is imminent.” Uttar Pradesh elections are being held in seven phases. Varanasi will go to polls on March 7. Results will be declared on March 10.
