Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 6 inaugurated a 12 km stretch of a total 32.2 km Pune Metro Rail Project. While addressing the inaugural ceremony, the Prime Minister said that the Pune Metro rail will reduce carbon emissions to a large extent. “Pune has developed itself into an education, IT, and automobile hub. Amid this, we are working to meet the requirements of the people of Pune. Metro rail will reduce carbon emissions to a large extent,” said PM Modi.
