फेफड़ों के अलावा भी टीबी कई प्रकार की होती है। इसमें से ही एक होती है दिमाग की टीबी। ऐसे तो दिमाग की टीबी एक-दूसरे से नहीं फैलती लेकिन, जब फेफड़ों की टीबी से संक्रमित व्यक्ति खांसता, छींकता है तो उसके मुंह से निकली बूंदे दूसरे व्यक्ति के अंदर प्रवेश कर जाती हैं।
