Over the past couple of years, many people decided that owning a dog would make lockdowns easier to bear. However, as things start to get back to normal, people are having second thoughts and the number of big dogs being surrendered to shelters in Melbourne has doubled over the past month. So now a big dog adoption drive is underway to help re-home these pets.
