ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಜಾಬ್ ವಿವಾದ ಆರಂಭ ಆದಾಗಲೇ ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವು ಅರ್ಜಿಗಳು ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಆಗ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅರ್ಜಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾನ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
