Hundreds of eels chopped up in Tasmanian dam turbine

Hundreds of dead eels have washed up on the banks of the Tamar River in Tasmania's north, despite a $1 million bypass installed at the Trevallyn dam in 2020. Instead of swimming through the bypass, the eels are being chopped up by the dam's turbine.
