India managed Omicron surge much better than other countries as the total active cases further declined to 30,799, constituting 0.07 per cent of the country's total positive cases on March 17. “Today, 15-17 lakh cases are being reported globally but India is reporting around 3,000 daily cases,” informed the Ministry of Health during a press briefing.
