Media reports say that China has been separating Covid-19 positive children from parents, in a move that has driven many families to despair and anxiety. Reuters reported the account of a mother in Shanghai who said she begged authorities to not separate her and her 2.5 yr old daughter but was threatened to do so and has received only a brief message since the separation.
