Enforcement Directorate questioned Punjab Former CM Charanjit Singh Channi for several hours in the alleged illegal sand mining case of 2018. According to reports, Charanjit Singh Channi was questioned for a long time on Wednesday. ED officials have also confirmed the inquiry. Before the Punjab Assembly elections this year, Charanjit Singh Channi's nephew Bhupinder Singh Honey was also arrested on charges of ED money laundering.

पंजाब के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी की मुश्किलें बढ़ती जा रही है. साल 2018 के कथित अवैध रेत खनन मामले में प्रवर्तन निदेशालय ने चन्नी से कई घंटों तक पूछताछ की. एएनआई के मुताबिक चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी से बुधवार को लंबी पूछताछ की गई. ईडी के अधिकारियों ने भी पूछताछ की पुष्टि की है. दावा किया जा रहा है कि चन्नी को दोबारा पूछताछ के लिए बुलाया जा सकता है. इस साल पंजाब विधानसभा चुनाव के पहले चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी के भतीजे भूपिंदर सिंह हनी को ईडी मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग के आरोप में गिरफ्तार भी किया था.
